This is True - They won't last the summer. Bring on the pressure. Tell the truth folks. "Tell it all Brothers and Sisters."

The Truth shall set all those suffering scapegoated kids free. Tell it

"I used to piss CEDU off by giving the kids snacks, treats, and cocoa. They wanted me to not do that. I said it was my session, the parents were paying, and it was none of their business. I was appalled that they wanted to deny a kid a couple of cookies!"

Sounds like you did a great job of buying kids respect and undermining policies. Just what every employer looks for in a good employee.

I know a lot of kids who recieved much needed comfort from their therapists.  It was cruel and unusual punishment that the staff continuously handed out to these children.  They did not want the kids to have any joy in their life except what the counselors handed out to them.  And most kids got zero!!!!!

Thank you for showing kindness to those kids fortunate enough to be seen by you.

State funding?  Good, that opens them up to a federal lawsuit.  Study the Milonas V. Provo Canyon School lawsuit that was filed in the late '80s, I believe.

Find a lawyer who will file a lawsuit on behalf of a couple of students (like Milonas and Rice).  Deep pockets while not always the first concern, are nevertheless a top priority with lawyers considering taking on a case of this magnitude.

The legal and consitutional rights of children are nearly impossible to enforce in programs that do not accept state/federal funds, which is why civil lawsuits are almost always the only option.

Funding via Medicare/Medicaid, or IEP's also qualify the institution as being under "color of state law" and therefore, not supported entirely by private funding (meaning parents).

Good luck!
