This is a good question. I can't say for sure, but I can say that during "the repressed memory hysteria" of the 80s and 90s, many people were victimized by bad therapists and their, so called, "repressed memories" including me.
A CEDU staff who was "no more than high school graduate" but, a very certifiable "trust counselor" pulled a repressed memory from my wife - of me raping her. Oh shit, a regular incident of 12 years prior, before we were married, and when we were living together madly in love, was quietly altered very imaginatively, and suddenly a dregged up memory of middle-of- the-night sex made me rapist.
It didn't matter that my wife was molested for years by a family member and she remembered every detail. It did'nt matter that we had been married for 11 years - happily. It didn't matter that I was a die-hard faminist fighting exploitation of females; What mattered was that this 12 year old false memory was now in her pocket, and all of her anger and self loathing could now be blamed on me and directed toward me.
Thus, I became the cause of her frigidity and I suddenly became "the miserable basterd that ruined her life." What actually was I? I was the miserable basterd that was saving her brother, the child molester, from having to take hell. Now he whole issue would be projected on to me. Wonderful, isn't it.
The sordid falsely constructed version of this "alleged" incident was then broadcast across the CEDU schools and into the community by CEDU staff and eventually a CEDU therapist.
Gosh, It is fun to have your marriage and reputation destroyed by memory reconstruction. But, you know what they say, and I'm living proof of it; "What doesn't kill us" (does often) "make us stronger." Yes, strong enough to silence the real victimizers."
CEDU parents, this could happen to you if you don't get your kid out of there NOW.

Any other horror stories out there. Come on, you can post them annomously and tell all about being called whore abd slut in the propheets and having staff vicariously humping you. You can tell all about the Post Traumatic Stress this induced and the hospitalization that cedu caused you (annonomously).

We will move on. Just remember, please, that it is wrong to leave a stumbling stone in the road after it has tripped you. Others will become its victim. Threatening signs, tire slashed, truck with flames and loud pipes - two encounters, a call to 911. If my last light comes. make it "last light" for the schools. My wife and others will know who's hand came to pass.
