Sex with Ghosts
« on: March 12, 2004, 06:34:00 PM »
I am a 40 year old woman who has on numerous occasions had sex with ghosts.  This is not a joke!

They always occur early in the morning, sometimes with my husband is sleeping beside me but usually I'm alone.  I am aware of being somewhere between asleep and awake.  (Though they have also visited me on occasion in my dreams.) I know where I am, what day it is, and that I am in a state of conciousness that will certainly mean a visit.  They alway enter through a door, and they always announce their presence in some fashion.

The ghost that visits me now lets me know he's here by rotating my limbs and sometimes my whole body around the bed.  Then he touches me and makes love to me in one form or another.  Sometimes there are more that one.  Sometimes they are gentle and sweet and other times they get a little rough.  I almost alway have an orgasm, but if they do something that scares me, they leave right away.

For awhile I was being visited by a ghost who would announce his presence by sliding his hand around the bed.  I could hear it and feel the pressure on the mattress.  Then I would be aware of an intense heat going up my legs to my abdomen.  The orgasm would be so intense and so complete, I would still be pulsating as I come to fully awake.  One time I opened my eyes when I felt the heat going up my legs, and I saw a black fog hovering in the middle of my bedroom.  This scared the hell out of me.  It disturbed me, so I got on the internet and read about Incubus.  I told my husband about it and we researched it together.  He is very supporting though admitted that he was not happy about sharing me with Incubus or anyone else.  I decided to take a stand the next time this partucular ghost visited me.  It was a bit of a struggle (he was a powerful force.)  Then a couple nights later, he came to me in my dream and we had a battle of sorts.  I recall looking at him determined not to let him scare me and a forceful wind was blowing through the room.  However, I have not been visited by that ghost again.  It gave me a sense of control.

The ghosts that visits me now is not as powerful.  I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.  I have to say I miss the intensity of this ghost.

I know many people will read this with disbelief, but I hope some people will recognize my story for what it is.  Or maybe someone has some insight as to what this means.

Sounds very like sleep paralysis to me.

Sleep paralysis is such a nice scientific term.  Whatever you want to call it, it doesn't change it.

Ihave studied sleep paralysis, but it does not describe what i'm experiencing.  For one, I am not paralysed, and I am able to come out of it at my will.

I believe there is a balance that needs to be met between science and the unknowable.  I am not a religious person, i do believe in evolution, but I also believe in God.  I believe in medical science; I also believe in holistic medicine.  Most of all, i believe that there are many things in this world that cannot be explained because we are ONLY human.

I read a lot of your posts, Ginger, and I admire your openess and appreciate your contributions.  I would like to know where you stand on Metaphysics.

Why thank you. Well, I guess the term "unknowable" pretty well sums it up. There are things in this world you just can't explain. People tend to come up with some kind of way to explain things that happen. But, often enough, we're just guessing.

When people say they believe in God, what does that mean? To some, it means they litterally think there's a Metaphysical voice speaking to them in sign and in their dreams and they will kill or die on command of that voice. To others, it just means there's some force in the universe that's beyond our ken and reckoning. I sort of fall into the latter category.

It is the ultimate safe sex!  My feeling is that I'm lucky to have such a great outlet for my sexual energy. I'm trusting, however, that these ghost won't hurt me!

Does your husband get jealous?
And is the ghost a better lay?

Fortunately, my husband is very secure, and our sex life is fabulous.  When i have talked to him about it, he admits that he doesn't  want to share me with a ghost or anyone else.  I don't talk to  him when I have the experiences any more to spare him.

As far as a comparison, my husband has the advantage becaue of the emotional aspect as well as the duration.  Sex with a ghost is an usually instantaneous orgasm.  Sometimes the ghost barely touches me and I'm there.  Plus, having sex with someone unknown to  you lacks that special something, if you know what I mean.

Yes, I recognize your story for what it is. You are giving a textbook description of hypnogogia. Common term, "sleep paralysis."

This is not uncommon - it's a matter of missed timing by the brain when initiating sleep. Typically, people feel a presence and physical sensations, but are not able to move. They have semi-awareness of the room they are in, but interpret it as awareness. Also, They typically feel a presence, typically a frightening one, but not always.

It is also not uncommon for people to experience orgasm in some stages of sleep. Orgasm can occur during hypnogogic states.

These sleep experiences are often interpreted as evidence of space alien abduction or ghost experiences. In past European and American culture, they were interpreted as demons - the incubi.

Your experience is wholly from your own brain. To interpret any differently only leaves you susceptible to more such experiences. The orgasm is nice, but it is better to recognize it for what it is. Nothing wrong with having an orgasm by yourself - millions of people do that every day!

Stating that you have sex with ghosts is nothing to brag about. It makes you look psychotic. Do you really want people to think that of you? Wouldn't you rather people be impressed with your intelligence and knowledge? Reality is much more exciting than silly ghost stories!
