I carved a locally grown sweet potato into a pipe, cause I was sick of the taste of my dirty glass piece and sick of cleanin it all the time too, and by about the 2nd hit I can taste the flavor of the sweet potato mixed with the grass...It makes the leaf I been burnin taste like sweet potatoes.  It's really good.  I been smokin out of the sweet potato all month.

Yeah, I've smoked through an apple before and now that you mention it, I may try it again for a direct comparison.  The oblong shape of the sweet potato works well and I really like the flavor.

I owe it all to TBPITW, my tai chi teacher, and a couple of women of ill repute, not necessarily in that order.   I do recommend all three as a means of coping with the mindfux that were inflicted on us at Straight, Etc., and related retardation resorts.
