A Little Bird

Subsequent to the revelations about the All About Receiving Cash behaviour modification program made on the CBC Fifth Estate episode "Powerless", lawyer Clint Docken undertook to represent victims of the unlicensed quack pseudo-treatment.  Many former subjects were ready to come forward and disclose the bizarre rituals and punishments that consistute the program, but suddenly Docken dropped the case like a hot potato.  How did All About Receiving Cash confirm that such an action was being undertaken, as their cover-up plan clearly indicates:
"We believe the following people are in the process of pursuing a potential law suit against AARC and have requested a copy of their AARC client file – Christine Lunn, Rachael O’Neill, Dalyce Urban, Jill Delf, Tara Thompson, Lisa Byram, Bodana Dye, Sarah Miller Dr. Vause spoke with AARC’s insurer, Jay Sinclair of BFL and they insure AARC is in good standing and prepared – We have received confirmation that a class action law suit is in process with lawyer Clint Docken – John Lojek has been instructed to do preliminary research into a potential class action suit.
Peggy to take over this with John."

A little over a month later, this is what one of the AARC victims reported:
"I spoke to Kim Johnson from Docken today. She said that a class action suit would not be possible because 'too many people feel the program helped them.'"

Now just how did Docken and Co. come to that particular calculation?  Oddly, Docken's ears apparently pricked up once Ann McCaig's name was mentioned.  More AARC Saskatchewan cronyism?
"AARC will go on serving youth and families as long as it will be needed, if it keeps open to God for inspiration" Dr. F. Dean Vause Executive Director
