DeRidder man arrested for sexual conduct with juvenile

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (RPSO) - On July 23, Deputies, along with the officers from the Lecompte Police Department, responded to U. S. Youth Services, formerly Red River Academy, in Lecompte. The call was in reference to criminal sexual conduct involving a staff member and a juvenile student.

Deputies, along with Lecompte PD, collected necessary information for a report and the case was turned over Sheriff’s Detectives for further investigation. Detectives identified the suspect as Michael Matthew Guy, 23 of Deridder.

Guy, an employee, was not at the facility at the time of the report.

Through their investigation, Detectives developed sufficient probable cause that supported the initial allegations of the victim. On August 1, Guy was taken into custody without incident and arrested for one count carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count indecent behavior with a Juvenile.

Guy was transported and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains on a $200,000.00 bond.

Detectives said their investigation is still ongoing.
