I recently became aware of the practices used at Carlbrook through a friend of mine who attended from 2005-2007 (I believe). I am currently the Director of Communications for a small private college in NC, but I am also an independent filmmaker. I would like to produce a documentary surrounding Carlbrook and other "therapeutic" boarding schools or wilderness programs. Would any of you please email me? My friend's stories were shocking, to be frank. I'd love to start some sort of rapport on your experience there with the hopes that I could use your experience (along with my friend's) to shed light on the bizarre and shocking methodologies used at Carlbrook. - ICD
