If you're watching this board on behalf of your client please know that your name has been mentioned here as someone who may have signed a seemingly extreme contract to have your child held in WWASP/Jamaica locked up.

Is this true?

If so, did that contract include granting the program the ability to use mace, handcuffs, electrical disabler, straight jacket or any other means necc. to control your child at the discretion of the program staff?

if yes, did it also state that you agree to hold them harmless for any actions of their staff on or off duty?

If yes, did this cause you any pause? did you wonder what could happen?

What diagnosis did your child have had that a professional would recommend this treatment?

did a professional recommend this program- if yes, who??

did you ever visit your child during this time? did you receive letters that complained of bad treatment? If yes, were you told to dis-regard them as manipulation?

do you believe that all children should have the right to independently report abuse to government agencies?

What are your thoughts regarding this decision now? How is your child now?

 you may want to ask that child some specific questions about the experience as some parents have. some have been surprised at the answers.

If someone had the ability to sign you up for who knows what type of behavior modification- would you want to spend 3 years held in a WWASP program?

do you believe in doing to others as you'd have them do to you?

do you believe that there is no right or wrong - only what works and what doesn't work?

were you ever compensated for any referrals you may have made to WWASP?

Maybe you're unfamiliar with WWASP language. In WWASP-speak, judging is as wrong and sinful as self medication is in the broader drug warrior lexicon. We're not supposed to think for ourselves about anything. If we're to judge (as in condemn) any thought or behevior, we're only to condemn ourselves. We're not to question any act or bullshit story handed down to us from on high.

And so to be accused of judging or using our own God given discernment is like being accused of being a druggie or a child molester. An accusation is as good as a conviction in these ppl's addled, group-think hijacked minds.

But you're dead on correct, these are interogatories, not statements of fact. And I do believe this type of conversation is both foreign and frightening to group members.

It's more like "judgmental" - big difference.  

Everyone (Or most people) judge or discern right from wrong, what works and doesn't work.

Judgmental has a whole nother feeling and meaning attached to it.  Those questions could be read as innocent questions, but I am reading them as being very judgmental.  You're right, Carey's wrong for seeking counsel from someone who is familiar with the agenda of her accusers.  Nothing wrong with that in my judgment (without being judgmental.)
