"Struer Skolehjem" which is a mixed of a Christian boarding school and group home was the center of a scandal involving a handyman who had forced relationship with several boys. In the end he was sentenced to two years in prison for having sex with one of the boys. It doesn't sound like very much time but the viewpoint was that the boys came from broken homes and has less morale than normal people.
Years later it has become clear that the present manager obstructed the police investigation by putting pressure on the boys so they didn't dare to tell the police that they were abused too.
The manager back then - Knud Groenne - is dead today but is a kind of legacy in the local community. Fact is that he obstructed justice and for many of the boys justice was never served.
