How come straight never "tips it's hat" to the seed? After all, straight just took Barker's  mission statement and ran with it.
Weren't there kids who wound up in both programs?

Not sure I follow. There are PLENTY of sites out there that talk about the fact that the Seed and Straight were linked. But since the Seed was shut down by the government I don't think Sembler and the owners of Straight wanted to claim they were the same program.  And yes there are kids that wound up in the both because once The Seed shut down they opened up Straight so they just moved the kids on over.

If I recall correctly, her parents were in the Seed, however.  I don't recall her ever claiming she, personally, was in the Seed as a client/whatever.

Yep pretty sure Ginger's family was involved in the SEED I do not think she herself was put in (she was only 6 or so) but her family was and then she wound up in Straight.  I'm sure had the seed still been aroudn she woudl have wound up in there, she was just too young at the time, I suppose.
