Hello Payton, and welcome to this forum. I remember a payton from the Seed, at least the name, but it was at St Pete. I was only 14 when I was there, and I have a hard time linking names to faces, but for some reason I vividly remember almost everything that happened there.
I am glad life is good for you. It is for me as well. I live on the water and have two children and a dog. all three are way cool.
Have you ever thought about the techniques used by Art,and where they came from? why, for instance, on the parents side, the chairs were cushioned folding chairs, and our side, very small uncomfortable wooden chairs? Did you think this was random?
Also, why did we get logged in and out and timed in the bathroom? Why was individual thinking not allowed(seed slang-getting into your head) Why so little sleep, so little food? Why was sexual humiliation part of "rehabilitation" (ex-your a slut, you couldn't do it with a coke bottle, I would use you and spit you out on the streets, I bet you were too lame to get laid on the streets, no chick would want you, they only used you, etc, etc)
Why the motivating, the confrontations? Were there Other groups that used these methods that were not drug rehabs?
Your thoughts on this are appreciated. I do understand that it takes some thinking to remember this stuff as most of us buried the actual events somewhere in a safe place in our heads, but I am interested in your thoughts.
Nice to have you log on.
