Actually, this means you're a "busy body"!"
Lawsuits are News.
I've noticed the teen "help" industry is very thin skinned and prone to thinking what it does is just its own very private business.
Nothing could be further from the truth. When you offer behavior mod treatment to the public, particularly inpatient behavior mod, *everything* you do except for issues of patient confidentiality is the public's business.
Mental, behavioral, and other medical treatments quit being the strictly private business of providers about the time that society realized Patent Medicines and people practicing medicine without a license were problems---if not then, then *at least* by the time Nellie Bly blew the lid off patient mistreatment in insane asylums.
It is very much the business of every single voter in this country what you guys do to teens in those facilities----whether they're being provided with quality care, or not.
This lawsuit is part of the pattern of unfolding scandals surrounding these facilities, and voters who pay attention to it to inform themselves and keep up with this important public health issue are just being good citizens.
Carey may not be a perfect paragon of virtue, but in sharing this information on Fornits she's just being a responsible voter.
