Well, good.
Groups that kidnap kids are bad.
Parents that hire kidnappers to kidnap their kids are abusive.
The parents usually can't successfully be sued for the child abuse.
If the kid can sue the kidnappers and win, and it hits the parents, then the kid can get his/her money for college without having to agree to go into yet another post-18 "program" and can get on with his/her life.
A few parents taking it hard in the pocketbook from their grown kid suing the escort agency and the word will spread---through the parents' homeowners' or renters' insurance if nothing else--that using escort agencies is bad for your financial health.
Good.
OTOH, if the agency in any way misrepresented itself to the parents, the indemnification clause won't hold up in court. Also, if the parents have spent themselves into debt on programs and are in a "can't get blood from a turnip" situation, the indemnification clause won't protect the escort service from having to cough up the dough to the kid.
What this basically means is that if the kid sues the escort service, the escort service has to pay the kid, but will then have to sue the parents to recover---and if the parents don't have it, the escort service is still in a world of hurt, because they *still* have to pay the judgement to the kid, regardless of whether or not it's going to be possible for them to recover their costs from the parent.
