Betty Sembler in action
This is old news from 06/11/1998, but I just found it and stuffed it into the archive. Greg Scott spoke at that conference in Tampa. You think what the Program has done to us to save us from ourselves is horrendous? Get up to speed on what these same lunatics are doing to some others and how they're going about doing it!

http://www.newtimesbpb.com/issues/1998-06-11/news.html'>Infuriating the Joint A public seminar on the evils of marijuana. An activist claiming pot saved                his life. Someone was arrested.

If there's a worse idea going than locking kids up for victimless crimes, it's probably locking them in close proximity to some tyrannical altruist bent on helping them whether they need it or not.

We should all send this guy some donations for being so outspoken and courageous. Do you have an address for Mr. Greg Scott?

Re: Betty Sembler in action
I just talked to Greg. He said he's getting his own website up in a couple of weeks. Mean time, he can be reached at [mail][email protected][/mail]

BTW, that article talks about a SOS event on 5-27-98 in which Betty Sembler admits, in plain English, that her organizations have and will continue to move to ensure that the medical benefits of MJ are never explored or officially acknowledged. Here's the article again [link=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/help/ezcodes.html]Infuriating the Joint[/link]

If anyone knows how to lay their hand on that tape (hint, maybe a misbehaving parent already has access to it) please let Scot know. I'd be interested to see it too.

Take an open mind there Betty
take an open mind

remember how that phrase was used to quash any kind of thought other than right thought.  Now listen to Betty

"Despite the forum's billing as a "Marijuana Education Summit," the assembly was never meant to be an open discussion of ideas," says Betty Sembler, the founder of Drug-Free America, a nonprofit group that helped put the event together, and Save Our Society, a political organization.

It amazes me how increddibly idiotic and biggoted these people can be and proudly so.  It reminds me of my hillbilly redneck uncle who is proud of his Klan affiliations.

Oh yeah, like 'no sense fighting it, honey, just open your..... and take it all!'

I'm not really surprised that the likes of the Semblers are proudly ignorant. They can afford to insulate themselves and bask in the glory of their devout following. I am surprised that so many other Program parents all these years later still can't come to terms with what manner of beast had their way with them.
