Buried alive as wilderness therapy tool
« on: April 27, 2012, 01:06:30 AM »
In Denmark we have a new TV-show. It is not "Brat Camp" volume 2 because the teenagers and young adults aged 17 to 20 are not troubled teenagers. They are just normal people who have not cut the cord to their parents, which the parents willingly states as an error on national TV. Often they are not able to cook their own food or even find clothes without help from their parents despite their advanced age.

The TV station had to close their phones because they were overwhelmed with calls from parents who wanted to enter their children to the show.

This year five female teens and young adults are sent to Nepal combining an old european tradition - the  Grand Tour and Wilderness therapy. They have cooked food for a childrens orphanage in a previous TV section.

Now they are in the wilderness phase. In one exercise, they have to be buried alive so they can confront their fears. Has anyone heard of this exercise before?

Below I have a link to a YouTube video promoting the TV show:
