Actually, I am pretty pleased with how this has developed. Out of these forums, folks have been able to connect with one another in a hundred good ways. Some just take comfort in being able to talk about these things with others who where there and can understand. Some have reunited with old friends. Some have gone on to publish books, news articles, movies, etc. Regulatory, legislative and litigation investigators have been able to get an understanding of what's going on and to find and interview key witnesses. And, to boot, there are a growing number of pretty good parties around the country every year. You might say the idea has gone viral.
Above all, though, all on it's own, fornits was among the first and, I think, the most successful counter-propaganda to the troubled parent industyry.
Of course, as a lot, we program vets are some fucked up cup cakes. So, naturally, there tends to be more ill behavior around here than you would expect to see at, say, a truck pull or prison reunion. However, as Noneya has pointed out a time or three, you haven't really had a pleasant thing to say since you started posting. If you don't like all the hostility (and I don't blame you, I don't like it either) then why don't you just quit laying it down?
