I was reminded earlier today of where I got my wild ideas about anonymous communication.

Now, I don't have any legal obligation to protect the right to anon speech for anyone but myself. I do it because I think it's in my own and my progeny's best interest, to coin a familiar, though noxious phrase.

Did you guys do a little doublespeak in your head to handle that one? I did. Constantly. While the rap that would keep me from getting bruised came out of my mouth, the other side replayed in my head.

I knew this statement was going to be misconstrued when I wrote it. But I like to say what I'm gonna say without adding this and that and the other thing. ("but it's ok to post anon when blah blah blah") Anon attacks are cowardly. I never said, "All anonymous speech is bullshit." Sheeesh!
