I still can't quite wrap my mind around the entire idea of an anti-queer camp. Academically I can see the draw to certain... ummm how to say this politely.... uhh.. "conservative" elements of society. Beyond that the entire idea of a program for gay kids just sort of leaves me stupefied.
Could be my huge hang over as well, but mostly.. like god damn... I could have sworn there existed legal protection for persecution against sexual preference. I can' t imagine these camps not incorporating attack therapy to "get the devil out and jesus back into their godless queer-selves".
If this is the case where is the federal protection fro discrimination of sexual preference?
