« on: November 02, 2008, 05:32:14 PM »
The partial Tranquility Bay documentary (french directors) has been re-upped by members of www.antiWWASP.com for all those of you who've looked for it but had no luck. Hope everyone watches, it's a fairly good presentation of the facts, and I would definitely recommend everybody take a look. ;}

How can I download a song to my computer? I am working on a video for PDR class, I am not really Movie Maker savvy, so sorry if you think this is a dumb question! I need to download a song onto my computer, so that when I open File and Music, it's there. A friend showed me 2 years ago a way to do it, it was Media Fire or something I am not sure, but you just put the name of the song, it downloads in seconds. Do you know what it is or any other way to download a song onto my computer? Thank you!

I'm still wanting the full and complete version of the TB documentary - you know - the long version. I'd happily buy it from a legitimate source if I could figure out how to do this and not triple the price in the money exchange.

I am thinking the full version runs 90 minutes.

adding:

I used to have information on both versions and how to order them from zandig productions but I have misplaced it. I googled a bit and found where Paula Reeves says the full version is 2:90 – but as I am sure it wasn’t 3 1/2 hours long I think this means version 2 is 90 minutes, as I recalled.

Set Production AssistantCamera (color, DV), Viallet; editor, Christophe Bouquet; music, Remy Berger; sound, Verboud. Reviewed at Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival, March. 12, 2006. Running time on France 2: 90 MIN.

Google offers a lot of hits from fornits. this search brought up 10 pages of hits on the topic.

I found the fornits thread I was looking for. The documents I had saved where in the Whitmore file, and not the WWASP file, so I had some trouble finding them. But what I was looking for can be found  (mostly) in this thread:

Iv'e been searching too,and found the same info.There is a torrent for the original austrailian version. But with no seeders.and no health,I think it's a lost cause. There is also a BBC doc. on TB. I will try to down load that also.

Exotic school names like Tranquility Bay and Paradise Cove and beachside locations in countries like Jamaica, Fiji and Western Samoa suggest that troubled-teen students will find an idyllic and understanding academic paradise where they can reform. Instead the pupils behind the schools' barbed wire fences have been subjected to abuse and half of the schools have been forced to close. The program claims that the profitability of WWASP goes a long way to explaining why American authorities have not mounted investigations into its activities. An examination of personal finances of school executives, such as Robert Browning Lichfield, indicates that they are amongst the biggest donors to the Republican Party and gave over $1 million in political donations in 2002-2004 and also fund the missionary work of the Mormon movement.
