Excellent point there, Free. And I think we know someone who's going to find out.

Even if he does have friends, there is only so much they can do as the paper trail gets denser and longer. Ultimately, if they do too much, their own careers become at stake.

This is true; but this cover-up has been going on for years, and as we know from Watergate and all the "gates" that have come along since, a cover-up takes on a life of its own. The closer someone gets to uncovering the cover-up, the more the cover-uppers dig in. Ultimately, if an investigator is talented and persistent, the cover-up will colapse; and the cover-up almost always turns out to be the greater crime. My guess is that will be the case with Bucchigate.
