hi my name is jackie ivers, i was a resident of elan from 1979/80-1982. i "graduated" after countless months in the corner, gms, boxing rings, and God only knows what else. ive been diagnosed with did, ptsd and severe depression, most of which was brought on by my elan experiance. ive begun a site called shutting the doors of elan because i believe that people need to be held accountable for the abuses of the past and present. here is the web address for my community:

Ya know, most people seem to think that these places don't really exist, or that they only use to, or that it only happens to fucked up people.

PS Anybody and everybdoy who has any hand in it, should be held accountabl accordingly, including, and not limitted to governmet officails, and anyone who helped lie for them or hide the reality of the place.

Victims, should recieve compensation, too.
