You may have seen a few of my posts under username pixel8. I'm switching to this account because it is more easily identifiable.
I learned about the troubled teen industry through the Elan posts on reddit.com. The more I learned, the more outraged I became. With the help of a good friend, I started a subreddit dedicated to news and actions we can take against these horrible teen prisons.

Your site is fantastic, I've been doing a lot of reading and directing traffic here. I will be around more often, I'm new to message boards and I don't understand them completely, so please guide me if you see messing it up...I promise it will happen!
I would like to personally invite you to come visit us, as well. Please feel free to post your thoughts, your stories, your ideas to shut places down, news articles, links to resources, links to fornits, etc. Making an account is easy, you just need a username and password, email address is optional.
Most of reddit is like I was 3 weeks ago....they have no idea such a huge, harmful problem exists. If anything, we would like to get the word out about these abusive facilities.
