RIP Cyril Baptiste
« on: August 26, 2006, 08:47:27 AM »
Unfortunately another former Seed member has passed away. Cyril was one of thre more famous seedlinds. He was placed in the Seed, Tropical Park in Miami, during the summer of 1973. Unfortunately the place did not do him much good.  Today his story is on the front page of the Miami Herald.  link to story is below.

That is an amazing story.  How old was he when he went to the Seed?  Did he graduate?  Anyone have more on his story about the time he spent in the Seed Miami?

Thanks for posting that, Fue-law.

Cyril was sent to the Seed by the courts in the summer of '73. He was around 23 at the time. I was doing bathroom sign in at the time and he was the biggest person I ever seen. Back then he was 6'8" and built like a tank. I almost fainted when I first saw him.

He stayed about 2-3 months. He was good guy. He had a big verbal beef with staff one night, and he was one person that the sissy gutless chicken staff members like John Underwood and Robert Chun could not control , it took about 8 dudes just to calm him down and get  him to go to the back offices, he came back to ther group that night but was gone the next day. Of course , like almost everyone else, he just disaapeared and that was it.

btw: Greg my password no longer works.

Okay, I changed the password to "fuelaw".  Log in with that password, and then change it to whatever you want.

Dead calm here.  Just tried to call my sister in Marco, but no answer.  They are getting slapped right now.
