I'm gonna crash after this.  I am on the East coats too, and I started work really early today/yesterday.. but I d like to offer some quick insights.

1. Don't ever aplogise for your material possessions.  It is your money.  The most constructive way to spend it is on what you want.

2. It may not be your money that pisses this guy off.  It may be the fact that you don't live up to it, or anything else for that matter.  Your money is just what he grasps onto.
