Man, this is a little spooky. A friend of mine, who's always been free, noticed something peculiar about the Save and Drug Free town depicted on http://DFAF.org/ No people in the town. They show a most unlikely mix of smiling, happy looking people all cloistered together inside somewhere. But no people living in their ideal town.

Same thing with all the shots of this place so far. I know TB absorbed a lot of kids from Dundee when it shut down. I've heard anywhere upwards of 250 kids are supposed to be there now. Not any looking out the (few unboarded) windows? None on the walkways? Certainly none hanging around outside, kicking a ball or anything.

These people and what they sell are really scary!

When did that air? Old or current?
What is happening or happened with the lawsuit?
Did the governor conduct an investigation?
What's the latest?

Loretta and Vivian made my skin crawl. Just creepy. I don't believe in Evil, but am tempted to use the word to describe those two.

So, do I understand correctly, there was Straight, then Seed, then SAFE. All basically the same program with different names?

One of the dudes (an attorney?) in the clip said that strip searches were illegal. Is that true in all states?  Strip searches were conducted at the high dollar facility I have experience with, after visits off campus. Here's the funny thing. It was reported by a couple of ex-inmates that drugs, tobacco, and dip were available to those with the right connections, ON campus- no reason to risk being caught bringing them in.

What is dip? You are kidding, aren't you? Guess not. It's smokeless, shreaded, tobacco that one puts in their bottom lip.

Briefly, no, I don't believe there is such a thing as an inherently evil person (born that way). I don't believe there is a devil or that people are possessed by some external evil entity. I tend to believe that every seemingly "evil" person has good at their core, they've just got layer upon layer of conditioning which has caused them to disprect themselves and others, some to the point of no return.

I vent alot, but I feel much like Ginger. Send them all to a tropical island with all the pleasures and distractions they can possibly stand. I might add, with a lifelong supply of their favorite psychotropic Rx.

They're like cancer cells, spreading their diseased thinking and philosophies to anyone they come in contact with. It's a nice fantasy anyway.
They wouldn't volutarily contain themselves, they need to suck off other people in order to live.

And how does one eliminate or prevent cancer in the body? Don't provide a conducive environment, don't host the intruder. Strengthen the immune system. How does one apply that to the diseased thinking and philosophies that support teen torture warehouses?

The medical institution would say you go to war, attack the intruder (cancer) with toxic substances and hope the human doesn't perish in the process.

Rampant talking, as Ginger has said. When enough parents wake up to what's going on in these warehouses, the industry will disappear. The social body, as it were, will not host the harmful intruders.
