Refreshing Referral...

(1/1)

Dysfunction Junction:
So...I go to the dentist for a checkup and cleaning and it is discovered that I need some treatment by a specialist.  I get a referral from my dentist and leave.  When I get home I look at the referral and it has all the things you'd expect: "patient name, date, diagnosis, referring doc, etc."  In the area marked "Referral Comments" it says "Nice Gentleman!"  Not what I'm used to seeing on a dental referral, but, hey, I'll take it!

Ok having "certified " professionals is great, but do they use much improved leeches? And how about their bloodletting skills? Are they having "much deserved success" with that? I also think the classes at the "Shemp Howard" school of anesthesiology, would be an asset as long as they adhere to a strict rubber mallet policy. The sound the old wooden ones made can be quite off-putting, to a patient. Just who does the dental assisting? Certainly not that "Rational Ralph" character. God knows how much junk HE'D touch while a patient was out. :beat:
