Ridge Creek "School" - False Advertising
« on: January 20, 2011, 06:53:05 AM »
Thread rules: Whooter may not post. Thanks.

This thread is for listing the items about which RCS advertises falsely.  It will be a good way to identify specious claims by RCS in one easy to read location.

"9 to 1" Resident to staff ratio.

RCS was found by DHS to be dangerously understaffed.  When a child was beaten and kicked 10-15 times in the head by a resident DHS found one staff was providing security for 29 residents.

Mr. Mull stated in his 2010 Summary"to SACS (AdvanceEd) "In RCS' professional staff-to-student ratio of 1:1...."   Mr. Mull also stated,"TheRCS does not use restraints or locked rooms, relying instead on verbal redirection, logical and related consequences and on students' ability to maintain appropriate self-control."

Did he not read the ORS reports regarding "restraints used and is he not familiar with "THE CHALET?"  AS IN LOCKDOWN TIME-OUTS in "THE CHALET" during "THE DOGWOOD TOUR."
