Whooter the Program Shill - Catalyst or Derailer?
« on: January 20, 2011, 12:46:46 PM »
Thread Rules: Whooter may not post.  Thanks.

As we all know, Whooter has been a paid shill running damage control for various programs on Fornits for the last six years.

My simple question is "Does Whooter's shilling for programs and compulsive all-day-every-day and all-night-every-night posting add value to Fornits (i.e. he's a catalyst for discussion) or just derail and devalue the discussion (i.e. he's a nuisance)?"

I'd like to know what the general public thinks.

100% "Whooter derails dialogue" so far.  Not surprising at all.

I found Whooter to be a useful tool, a stand-in for my mother as I formulated and rehearsed the conversation with her that was 25 years overdue.  He was also a shining example of the kind of people who work in and champion this industry; sadistic, self-righteous, cold-hearted opportunists who have nothing but contempt for the people they claim to want to "help".  On the other hand, he caused many people here a great deal of emotional distress and tarnished the credibility of everyone who posts here, ESPECIALLY with all that disgusting porn, which he consistently blamed on one of us.  Fuck him, good riddance.

At first I found him useful to show the lengths program people will go to in order to shill for programs, but it got to the point where nobody wanted to deal with his constant re-posting the same shit over and over....especially his bullshit "statistics".  I'm glad he's gone.  There may be a lull in postings for a bit, but Fornits was running great before he came along and I have faith (did *I* just say faith????) that it will eventually come back.

As I said, he's a marketer, IMO, and very skilled at it.  He knows how to twist things around and especially with vulnerable people that have been exposed to brainwashing in the first place.

As Shady said......good riddance.

I found him useful as an example of how shitty program pushers really are. How devious and underhanded they like to roll. In that way he has served a purpose i guess. However, I had to cast my vote for choice B cause he didn't add anything truly meaningful to the discussion. After all, he was being paid by the TTI to push their product so how meaningful could he really get?

I found him useful when I wanted a subject to get to the top of the search engines.  Post the topic, wind him up, get a few hundred posts in the thread and BANG, the first hit in Google.  In order to make Whooter a useful tool, you had to practice the art of Judo - using his momentum (i.e. obsessive/compulsive disorder) against him.

@none-ya - I hope some people come back now.  I understand the frustration.

I don't believe that Whooter added meaningful discussion; it was never about his opinion for me. In fact, I don't believe he was ever interested in positing an intelligent discussion or  exploring the flip side.  I really believe he was twisted and cruel in the worst way possible: coldly so.  He simply enjoyed the game... lying about and hurting people. I am happy to see him go. Maybe now we can make him truly disappear by not talking about him.  He has wasted enough time and energy here.
