I appreciate the openness of this forum - but I do wish there was Some control.
However, to be fair, if you allow Carey a free hand to slander and imply scandal in all directions; based on nothing more than her paranoia and inflated ego, you have to expect folks will grow impatient with it, and lash out.
I assume where and when to draw the line is the problem, as someone is bound to get pissed and feel censored.
This is getting badly out of hand tho; and somehow needs to be stopped.

Finding the middle ground is right Karen. I know that the fact that Carey is trying to make us look like dumb asses for signing the contract is what started this foolish childish thread. But in reality Carey asked for it by stating taht we parents are stupid. Sure we are accountable but we also are keen enough to know we made a mistake and try to fix it. Honey, you are flappin'! How in the world do you manage the transition from laughing about being called a turd to laughing at someone else's expense? Yeah, but none of it is coming from Carey as far as I can tell. Carey's asking serious question about how parents can get sucked into something like this and I, for one, am doing my best to tell the lady everything I know or think on the subject.

Folks, this is what I'm talking about when I say that bringing a successful suite against anyone is not like ordering a pizza. Everyone goes on the defensive and offensive and the stakes are unimaginably high on a deeply personal level. Everyone's got some alibi, no one believes the others and not everyone even believes their own.

It's a fucking ugly business, bringing force of law down to bear against someone. Most especialy against those who torment us for our own good, because they do so with the approval of their own conscience. But when you've exhausted all other options, sometimes it's well worth it. And no one can legitimately make that call for another.

Based on my past experience with similar situations, my best advice to all of you guys is to try a little harder to limit friendly fire and civilian casualties.

You might get a kick out of this. There's a seldom used forum on this server called "Joe's Appartment". Originally, it was a private forum set up for planning a protest on SAFE, Orlando. I named it after the B movie about a guy befriended by the thousands of roaches with whom he shared his grungy NY flat. This was a nice little tweak at Loretta Parish, then cult guru over there in the red light district of OBT in Orlando, for refering to former program parents and clients as "a bunch of lying, cowardly cockroaches" in her four page screed to Brother Jeb! or the journalist or some damned body.

If it is believed that... elementary schools will be better managed by the governor and council, the commissioners of the literary fund or any other general authority of the government than by the parents within each ward, it is a belief against all experience.

In case somebody missed the point of this post, it was in response to the idiot who insists on equating Carey with a floating turd.  This kind of anal-obsession (said-in-cheek) is not funny, it is disgusting.  As for Carey, she is a trooper and God Bless her for standing up to the abuse of these s***heads!
