Head founding partner used to work at Bain.  Can't remember if it was Bain Capital LLC or its progenitor Bain & Co. but clearly, the "working relationship" was already quite close.  Some mention of them made earlier in the Bain thread, see HERE for more details...

They used to co-own CRC for a small number of years with some other investment firm, this second firm being owned by Credit Suisse First Boston.  CRC was then sold to Bain for ~$720 M in October 2005, finalized January/February 2006.

I personally found that insurance is a must.  I dropped my insurance and I got screwed.  I thought it would be cheaper that way but boy was I wrong.  My bills are super high now
