I was in death...O ... I mean the LIFE program for 2 1/2 years.  curious to find other Lifers....I was there around 1985.

Interesting Find: after doing some reading/research come to find out good ole Mrs Pete was a high school drop out......

I'd like to drag her by the hair like she did us.........anyway I guess not many.....well only a few people from L.I.F.E. have stumbled across these sights........

welcome to the fornits site.  I was also one of the Peterinhermouthman's stepford children.  unfortunately for you when she left us in the hands of that bastard Miller Newton, she opened up her own little hell hole.  Glad you made it.  Hopefully, Helen didnt

Ugh......remember her beehive white hairdoo w/ those thick glasses and her man-hands.  I remember one day (I of course was "missbehaving") she was giving some girl a ration of shit.  I was o so tired of hearing her so...I yelled out..."why don't you shut up and leave her the f*** alone!!!"  of course that bought me 3 days in the "time out room" with the one oldcomer that grossed me out the most.

O parting was such sweet sorrow.....lol....bastards

Well, at the Seed, Mrs. Peterman's main function was to run the intake and do paperwork.  She didn't get to that level of authority until the straight came along.

However, I will never forget her smugness and the pressure she put me under during my intake. She was a real piece of work, that one....

No, I meant what I said.

Who is this anyway?

government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees.

I was i LIFE in 1985. I was 12 years old.  I was in and out until I was 17 (at 15/16 I was at Growing Together).  I remember Ms. Pete.  I thought I heard that she passed away some time ago.  I can't remember how I heard that.  I am in the West Palm area now.  You?

I was in life I think from 83-86.  My brother was also, for a short time, I believe in 1986.  They kicked him out for going to church, knowing it would violate his probation.  He took his own life in 1991.

I can't say I remember much about the program, I guess some of the steps, a few songs, belt loops, sleeping by the door, RSAs, Ms. Peggy (I think she was a grad of LIFE).

Why did it shut down?
