Whoots, when you say WE, who are you referring to? I really don't think you should be speaking on behalf of others.
I am speaking for the moderates (not the typical fornits poster)

Quote
Most people don't like being associated with known liars and saboteurs .....

I am the same way, I dont like to be associated with those types either.  That is why I rarely seek out your opinion on most topics nor take them very seriously.

On the other hand, Anne has been consistent and honest about her life, in part to help others. Perhaps her greatest failing (and mine) is to consistently respond to a person devoid of conscience.
We all have, we really dont have much choice here if we want to post at all.

Quote
I know discerning right from wrong is challenging for you

Yes, good point.  I think most outsiders do struggle with this here on fornits.  How are we to know if a child was really kidnapped or just escorted to a program.

Quote
but try and manufacture a semblance of shame for consistently ducking the mirror when  looking for liars.

I dont even need to log out of fornits for that.  Cheers! here is looking at you!!

From Bills account from Aspen:
Quote
but I went there from 04 to 06. Most of the staff was yeah very unqualified but they were nice as hell. And when I was there they never restrained people or "touched" them in any bad ways. The only reason why I think this is so, they wouldn't let the boys mingle with the girls, that was the only problem any of us had. I mean we still had ways to go around that but it wasn't all bad. Most kids that I saw come and go, faked being sick, faked breaking limbs, faked being attacked by other people, faked being real and faked being anything worth a damn.

Another point here is that if you are a staff member who has to deal with 100's of kids who are constantly faking illnesses, broken linbs, faking being attacked then over time a persons' reaction time is going to be diminished whether they are highly trained or not.  They are not going to call 911 as quickly as if they were dealing with a normal cross-section of kids say from a local highschool.  Do you see what I mean?

Since you insist on falsifying my quotes, I am forced to reveal the truth. Wow, well played idiot.

Okay, Gonzo, I just wanted to make a point.  Lets get back on topic:

Quote
If you can afford that then good luck to you, reason being all those kids were so damn spoiled that at the end of the day they just went crazy and went nuts, cuz they couldn't have their laptops, IPODS, or cell phones. I went to another AEG school b4 Cedars for a year and half with no technology, grow the hell up and do your work like the rest of us and stop complaining.

It seems bill went to 2 Aspen schools.  So he has a perspective on a couple schools both of which he did not see any abuse occur.

Well, since you are the one accusing people of fabricating or embellishing their stories, discrediting you would seem to be on topic. In my opinion anyways.

If you had a hundred kids from your average highschool maybe a few would report being sick in a day.  But what if you had all these kids reporting sicknesses and broken bones which turned out to be false, day after day after day.  Since you are use to experiencing 95% of the reports to be false calls you natural reaction when a kid comes in is to presume they are faking.
This slows down the process and puts the kids in danger especially the one kid who needs immediate attention and doesnt get it.

This slows down the process and puts the kids in danger especially the one kid who needs immediate attention and doesnt get it.  So all the faking that many of these kids do in programs actually put the kids who really get sick in more danger and exposes them to a higher risk of not getting treated in the necessary time.

Regarding a moderation question made on this discusssion.  Why make things like this against the rule when it's so fun when guys like Whooter get caught.  I really can't get into truth or falsity when it comes to moderating but if you see him doing stuff like this, point it out and prove he's a liar.

I also just started a whooter-free thread on program lies here.

Okay psy,  Just to clarify people can alter other peoples threads to say pretty much anything they want to as long as it is funny.  If I show that Gonzotherapy was lying when he altered a thread (or alter it back to make the point) then that will not be off topic as long as I bring it back on topic again.

Examples in this thread alone

So if Gonzotherapy decides to write:
Quote from: "Whooter"
I am a liar, and more importantly, I am an idiot.
This is okay because it is intended to be funny?

But what about when Shaddyacres quoted earlier? It wasnt intended to be in jest:
viewtopic.php?p=385824#p385824
Quote from: "Whooter"

...

So we can conclude humor isnt the deciding factor.  Any posts can be altered to make people say what ever you want?

Whooter, I just copied and pasted from YOUR POST, TWO POSTS BACK, anyone reading the thread would know that.  If I was trying to deceive people I would have just made something up like you always do.  Do you see what I mean?

I provided a link prior to the quote and placed the quote in italic (in the OP).  I also pointed out your error and you never revised your post.  So it was clear that you were trying to make people believe that I wrote it otherwise you would have corrected your error.

It wasn't MY error.  Next time you quote someone, do it properly, with their name attached.
