Given the inherent risk, sending kids out of the U.S. for treatment is not a good idea, but it seems many parents over-rule their better judgment and do it anyway.

Congratulations ARNOLD!!!!  Seems the allegations reported in the newspapers and on TV shows that people don't believe everything they hear or read!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was never my intent to send my child out of the country. He was enrolled at SCL for their "ACADEMIC excellance." SCL family rep ,director,therapist worked me for months to send my "noncompliant" child to TB. Ken Kay assured me he would be safe.

Many times by many different people I was assured Jamaica was safe.How loving the staff is toward our kids etc etc etc.

I now know those people had an agenda over and above the concern for my child or myself.

I trusted the untrustworthy.

I never thought to contact the DOS to inquire.

THEY harmed my son,not I. I was negligent is trusting people I was paying a huge aount of money who claimed they were a Speciality school.
