Same guy who claimed that a mosque was being constructed a few yards from "ground zero".  Uses reification of "islam", a disingenous and artificial construct.  What is this person's agenda for manipulating the viewers in this disingenuous fashion?

The Imam behind Cordoba House is Feisal Abdul Rauf.  Here is a list of Imam Rauf's pals:
http://www.cfr.org/about/outreach/relig ... board.html

The Cordoba Initiative is in partnership with the American Society for Muslim Advancement, an organization chaired by Imam Rauf.
http://www.cordobainitiative.org/?q=content/ci-partners

And who is behind the ASMA?
•Carnegie Corporation of New York
•Rockefeller Brothers
•Rockefeller Philanthropy
•Rockefeller Brothers Fund
•Global Fund for Women
•William & Mary Greve Foundation
•The Sister Fund
•The Russell Family Foundation
•Danny Kaye & Sylvia Fine Foundation
•Graham Charitable Foundation
•Deak Family Foundation
•Henry Luce Foundation
•The Elizabeth Foundation
•The Ms. Foundation
•Hunt Alternatives

But let's go back to Imam Rauf's position at the CFR.  Who is the CFR?

Wahabbi you talkin' 'bout, Willis?

Where is that anthrax going to come from, Buzzy?  Who is ranching those rascally little bugs?

"The DNA sequence of the anthrax sent through the US mail in 2001 has been revealed and confirms suspicions that the bacteria originally came from a US military laboratory."

http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2 ... train.html

And who attacked people with anthrax, Buzzy?

"Bruce Ivins, 62, who had worked for 18 years at the US Government's biodefence research laboratory in Fort Detrick, Maryland, died from an overdose of painkillers after being told that the Justice Department was about to charge him over the attacks, which brought fresh terror to the US days after the September 11 atrocity."

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/w ... 441055.ece

And who's got the low-down on the bugs now, Buzzy?

"•The programs conducted at NBACC will provide knowledge of infectious properties of biological agents, effectiveness of countermeasures, decontamination procedures, and forensics analyses to support policy makers and responders’ development of policies, programs, and technologies"

Ajax - why are you asking me? I'm not the one advocating biological war fair to wipe out troublesome infidels.  All I'm trying to do is point out who is. We can not afford to be complacent about Islam and the very real goal it's followers have of our destruction.  We can not afford to be PC on this topic.  We can not afford to pretend cold hard facts are instead ignorance and bigotry.

Buzzy, the cold hard facts are that the United States government operates a trillion dollar military apparatus that is operating in a multitude of Islamic nations.  There are no Islamic countries currently occupying, nor conducting combat operations in, the United States.  Hundreds of thousands of muslims have died in the last twenty years as a result of military actions by the agents of the United States government.  There is no identifiable entity called "Islam" with agents responsible for the deaths of any United States citizens.  The only incidence of somebody conducting a terror attack with anthrax was the action of a member of the US-based military industrial complex.  There is no emprical evidence whatsoever to substantiate your allegation that we need to be afraid of  "Islam".  It is a reism that you use.  So it remains unclear just what it is that you are trying to do.

Ajax.  You're right.  Islam is not an entity.  Nazism was not an entity.  Both are ideologies, and ideologies have followers.  The goal of Islam, like Nazism, is the extermination of the unbelievers (especially jews), and the establishment of a worldwide Calphate.  Let's start with the jews:

One hadith says:
Quote
"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).Sahih Muslim, 41:6985, see also Sahih Muslim, 41:6981, Sahih Muslim, 41:6982, Sahih Muslim, 41:6983, Sahih Muslim, 41:6984, Sahih al-Bukhari, 4:56:791,(Sahih al-Bukhari, 4:52:177)

These ahadith are considered Sahih (authentic).  The Quran is similar.  Read Sura 9, the last chapter written which abrogates all previous, if you want to see what it says about how unbelievers should be killed, subdued, or enslaved wherever they are found.  It's quite explicit, and not really subject to interpretation.

See.  I just don't see the logic with tolerating an intolerant ideology.  People don't tolerate Nazism.  Why do they tolerate Islam?  Is it that enough time has passed for it to become accepted?  Is it that Nazism was never declared a religion?  Do people assume that all religions are the same?  When Synanon declared itself a religion, did that suddenly mean it was benign?

If you tolerate Islam, you tolerate intolerance.  You tolerate it's commands to beat women.  You tolerate it's tolerance of rape.  You tolerate it's commands to commit genocide.  I'm not saying that all who claim to follow Islam actually do these things.  I'm saying the ideology itself is toxic and those who follow it are by definition violent.  Military Jihad is not a small part of islam. It's a very large part.  The religion was invented to justify the actions of a warlord, after all.  Us foreign policy is hardly perfect but that doesn't in any way mean that there isn't danger out there or that Islam is not a threat.

Hasbaranik, the goal of Nazism was not the establishment of a worldwide caliphate.  The Nazis had plenty of fans, and were not just tolerated, they were aided and abetted.  IG Farben was in partnership with an array of American businesses.  All of the honchos at IG Farben, except Max Warburg, were charged as war criminals after the war.  IG Farben was financed in part by US firms.  In addition, the Nazi military-industrial structure was linked to the Soviet Union in the pre-war period.  So the Reds and the Capitalists tolerated Nazi ideology just fine.
The German state went to war under the Nazis in the same fashion that it did before the Nazis, and in the same fashion that every state has throughout history.  Agents of the state singled out groups to hate, told the people to be scared, and fired up the war machine.
Military action by agents of the US state has brought about the deaths of hundreds of thousands of muslims in the last twenty years, following clearly established doctrines and policies of an identifiable entity with an organic structure.  There i no such entity called "Islam", and no action by agents of this non-existent enity has brought about the loss of life for hundreds of thousands of US citizens.
