Be sure Huron knows about Woodbury. Does anyone know what other people they are naming? All the parents that know the kids are being abused and continue with the brainwash.

I think Huron should know there are parents who have refered other parents to these programs who are just as liable.  This excuse being floated around that these "poor parents were brainwashed and just didn't know any better" won't pass the litmus test.  Of course they knew better, which is explains why most of them they aren't referring kids anymore, but instead, are RECRUITING them for a class-action-lawsuit.

I agree. The parents are not brainwashed, if their child was abused, then they should get slapped with charges for child endangerment.  What did they expect, they signed contracts that layed it all out on the line.  They were turning their troubled teens over to a staff of untrained, unqualified an uneducated individuals.  Now they want to blame others for the a decision that they themselves made.  They feel bad because they put their child in harms way.

No, they weren't brainwashed.

"Distrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful."--Friedrich Nietzsche

I've said this before and I suppose I'll say it again. If we could ship all the Program believers and perpetrators off to a nice, comfortable caribean island retreat, I'd be perfectly happy with that. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm not commenting on them deserving each other or insinuating that it should be run like Dundee or anything. I mean let them have good shelter, plenty of decent food and all the creature comforts. Just keep them isolated from the rest of society and never give them a chance to abuse another child.

That's not going to happen. But we can probably seperate them from any public funding, protection by the authorities and their bogus vaneer of legitimacy so that they never have the chance to abuse another child, ever.

Whether the parents are complicit or tricked is a really difficult question. Usually, it's a little of both. Regardless, they're still going to be these kids' parents and their kids' grandparents no matter what happens. Let the families try and work things out privately if they can.

I know when we placed our son at Bethel Boys Academy, Lucedale, MS. we checked it our thoroughly.  We were stronly urged to use a kidnapper to escort our son there.  We wouldn't hear of it.  We would never place our child at a place we hadn't visited and seen for ourselves.  We spent many hours in conversation on the phone and in person.  In the end being the computer nut I am I dug up all kinds of dirt on Herman and John Fountain, the owners of Bethel Boys.  My son smuggled out the phone numbers of other children.  Those parents, hearing that their children were abused, flew and drove immed. to Miss. to rescue their children.  They had no idea.  Some were even receiving those "monitored" phone calls so they just knew their son would have said something.  It's a lie and a con built in scecrecy once they have your child and your money.

What are the Huron people saying about all the newspaper articles, Inside Edition, magazine stuff since May?  Anything about finding an impartial jury that hasn't read or seen something?

I and many people I know have spoken with them. Keep trying. As you can see, the case is getting bigger as they take longer to get back with you. And yes, they are very confident.

Who is funding the costs of preparing for this class-action and why should anyone rely upon the weak feedback of some anonymous poster?  Why doesn't HURON speak for itself on it's own website?  This is very strange.
