"Distrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful."--Friedrich Nietzsche
I've said this before and I suppose I'll say it again. If we could ship all the Program believers and perpetrators off to a nice, comfortable caribean island retreat, I'd be perfectly happy with that. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm not commenting on them deserving each other or insinuating that it should be run like Dundee or anything. I mean let them have good shelter, plenty of decent food and all the creature comforts. Just
keep them isolated from the rest of society and never give them a chance to abuse another child.
That's not going to happen. But we can probably seperate them from any public funding, protection by the authorities and their bogus vaneer of legitimacy so that
they never have the chance to abuse another child, ever.
Whether the parents are complicit or tricked is a really difficult question. Usually, it's a little of both. Regardless, they're still going to be these kids' parents and their kids' grandparents no matter what happens. Let the families try and work things out privately if they can.
