Currently reading a popular novel, " The DiVincie Code".
Its a current best seller, so you can find it anywhere. Not completely finished with it yet, but nearly, and thought I'd tell you folks about it.
It's a novel, so not a 'true' story; but the subject matter is 'real'. Its about a secrete society; and a very old form Catholic sect; who are at odds with one another, you might say.
The sect, and the secrete society, are real. They do exist. The line gets fuzzy as to how much of what is explained about them is accurate, but I suspect a lot, or even all, is.
Its a tight and well written mystery / thriller, and worth reading for that reason alone, if you like this kind of thing - but be warned - the author is slanted in his view as to which of the adversaries hold the more correct view of a serious matter - Christianity; Jesus the Christ and Mary Magdelin.
I don't wish to tell to much, as I wouldn't want to spoil any of the intreg; but if you will be upset to have your faith questioned by such a book as this (assuming the reader is Christian) you might do better to leave it on the shelf.
If you lean towards Pagan beliefs you'll love this book with out reserve.
What it boils down to is the age old battle.
It is always the pagan and the Christian at odds; as Christianity is the only rival to Paganism to ever exist.
This book seems to be about the struggle between the Gnostics and the Christian. You can read about it in the New Testament as well. Its been going on from the very beginning.
While I personally believe all Pagan practice and belief to be evil and straight from Hell; There is still much thats brought out about how the Catholic church twisted the meaning of the scriptures that I believe to be valid.
I would maintain this is why the Catholic church fought so hard to keep the scriptures unavailable to the common man. Once they could read for themselves what is Biblical, they could plainly see it often goes in opposition to what the Church teaches.
The Gnostics however, take their arguments to far and so fall into serious (even diabolical) error.
Anyway - as the book is about secret societies and sects, I thought some of you might want to check it out.

From page one:
Its not widely known; seldom explained in history class, that the Nazis & SS were deeply emeshed in the occult and believed the power of the pagan faith they had resurrected, would lead them to certain victory.
Some believe WWII was a kind of trial run - what is called a prefillment of prophecy. Some think there is a phenomenon in Biblical Prophecy - were the prophecy comes to pass in a minor way; the prefillment; And then later the actual event occurs - the Full fillment.
Also, a little known historical fact: After WWII, the US gov't employed the same German chemical manufacturers that produced substances like zyklon-b (I can't believe I remembered its name) which were used to snuff the Jews in the gas ovens or chambers or whatever.I know this no thanks to history class...

I?d like to talk about this just a little more.
Last night the history channel was running a set of shows on the SS. They made the above point that the SS / Nazis were following a Pagan/Occultic religion. They went on explain how the ?final solution? was just the beginning. As with all other such Pagan groups; there are some things known only to the higher members. One of the things kept hidden from the lower ranks; but well understood by the higher order SS men, was that next in line for final solution treatment was the Christian Faiths. There had even already begun some desecration of Churches, like that which took place with the Synagogues at the start.
It got me wondering about something. I wonder if the inquisition and other horrors inflicted upon European Jews, wasn?t as is thought, the work of Christians; but rather, the work of these secret pagan societies. It seems very likely to me such is the case, tho I have never herd it said so. Most people think the Nazi persecution was the same kind of Christian persecution as the inquisition, only multiplied. I wonder if it wasn?t indeed generated from the same source; but a Pagan (and thus demonic) source and not a Christian one.
It never made sense to me that believing Christians could persecute the Jews. Even casual reading of the Bible makes it clear this is a very dangerous thing to do; and the book of Romans makes the point that gentile believers are grafted onto the Jewish vine; and that this is a honor and a privilege. So Christian persecution of the Jews makes no sense at all; But Pagan persecution does, and has been the normal state of affairs sence Abraham left Ur.
And the Crusades - that was the Knights Templer. They too, hid behind a Christian mask, but were in fact (so the conspiracy buffs say, anyway) Luciferian Paganist; which became the Illuminati.
Food for thought.

This is a link to information about the Illuminati in America today.
Its interesting.
Some of you post program people will reconise some aspects of what is discribed.
What is discribed is not what I have in past reading on the subject understood the Illuminatti to be.
I have in the past thought of the Illuminatti as a very few very powerful people at the higest point of the secreat society web.
This link maintains something different; but the basic history, and agenda remains as always, the New World Order.
