This really is what it's all about. Making the parents happy and guilt free. It's never been about helping kids. Parents can send their kids away and then be reassured that everything is the kid's fault and that the program will fix 'em, make nice little robot drones out of them and then send back a 'happy, joyous and free' child. ::)
Yanno what people?? Raising kids is hard. Really hard. It's the most important and most difficult job we'll ever have. You don't get to farm out your responsibility when it gets tough. That's when they need us the most.

Here is my problem with this, Anne. You are a good parent and you will go to any lengths to help your child, like I did, but alot of the children in these programs don't have parents like you just described. Then what do you do. Please don't tell me then it falls to Social Services, Child Welfare or the School system because they don't really care on a personal level. I'm not saying I agree they should be sent to a abusive program, no. I am asking what do you do when the parents want to off load the kids because they don't want to deal with it.
There are children falling through the cracks and ending up in these programs.
I did and most of the kids I met in Elan where there because their parent or parents did not want to deal with it.

We all know that's just not true, Whooter. In fact, you are the main reason this rule was changed.
When these threads about you came up a few months ago, all of a sudden ; ), we had the "FUCK" troll flooding every thread about STICC, John Reuben or Whooter with several dozens of posts consisting only of the word "FUCK" in large, red font. That was your last ditch effort to bury the latest lies you were caught in and the rules were changed because of that.
Not to mention that you have been previously banned for flooding/trolling. Also not to mention that you have been caught (when your anonymous posts were linked together) posing as:
- A Hyde student
- A program staff
- Other Fornits posters
- "Neutral" outside observers
- etc, etc, etc.
No, Whooter, despite your protestations, you are the one proven to be dishonest. Everyone knows it, so why not just accept it and stop with your vapid allegations about the honest folk here?

See? No "regular parent" would do those things, Whooter.
This is why nobody believes you here. Your stories just don't add up and anyone with half a brain can see this right away. Like when you were trolling me via PM and said "I'm you're worst nightmare. You'll never get rid of me." What "regular parent" with "no ties to the industry" hammers away at the same false meme for six years on a website for survivors of abuse, Whooter? In short, the answer is "none."
