I was there for 11 months from 1974-1975.  I turned 15 in there.

Previously, I attended military boarding schools in Virginia from second to sixth grade.

After The Seed, I attended a college preparatory boarding school in Delaware.

A psychiatrist said all my problems stem from feeling unloved as a child.
Funny. my s?o says thaT BOUT ME NOW. :beat:

I haven't thought about the seed until this last year. And I put in art barker on the internet and lo and behold I found this place. I have some mixed emotions about the seed. Its good to have this place to talk . Reading alot of the posts from different folks has jogged my memory. Some of it good some of it not so good. My wife went through the program as well.

Mixed emotions? Are you kidding me. What could you possibly miss? Did they ever stand your wife up and give her the coke bottle rap? How about signing "shit or piss" in the bathroom log? Good times! Being hungry and thirsty all the time? Going "home" to your old commers house and doing those godamn moral inventories? THE SEED SUCKED on every level. I can't  imagine a hosehold of two seed grads. All I can say is good luck to you and yours

I was a new commer for around 4 mon. Then newcomer living at home for 1 1/2 to 2 more months. They wouldn't let me go back to school or get a job. All I wanted was to be off my 10 - 10's but that wasn't happening so I split from home.Wound up doing a lousy 10 days in jail (I was 17). The judge gave me credit for time served in the seed, but sentanced me for violating the court order to finish the program.

I was on my 10 to 10's for about 5 months. Beleive me is was not fun. Actually, pretty stressful...but I don't remember signing in to take a piss or shit at the bathroom....maybe I blocked it out. I was on the program for about 15 and half months....They actually graduated me ....I was afraid to put in to get off the program. Still trying to figure that one out. peanut butter and jelly sucked, But i did gain 55 lbs in two months. Sorry you feel the way you do. The Seed quit controlling me years ago. I'm passed that.....I hope you the best.
