Hidden Lake Academy Closing 8-28???

There is no question about what to believe. think carefully, read between the lines.
The two staff you spoke to are saying the exact same thing. One is being totally honest, the other is trying to keep up appearances. One speaks with the best business interests of the school in mind, the other couldn't care less about the business interests of the school. They ARE running on skeleton staff. Their student body has been under thirty students for nearly a year now, and has been steadily declining. they ARE re-organizing though, in the attempt to attract more business. Regardless, one can come to the conclusion based on what both counselors said that HLA is in dire straights right now.

Buchi has no one to blame but himself. He can try and start a new day with Ridge Creek if he wants, but he's still going to be held accountable for his actions.

The problem is he has never been held accountable, nor have the agencies, the attorneys or the retired Lumpkin County Judge. There is the possibllity, he will re-open the place with Juvenile Offenders because that is all he can get and we all know too well he snuck the court ordered children in. It is a lucrative business as the DJJ are so overcrowded.. With the ORS working in conjunction with Buccellato promoting the school to the DJJ, it will be a given, unless the DJJ balks...That was in 2007-2008 with Mountain Brook...with Chris Grimwood leading the charge to the DJJ for low level offenders. The DJJ Director told me they were told the facilities were separate from HLA and she was going to visit to confirm. If i recall correctly, that was in early 2008 during the GAO investigation. Well, now, with HLA gone, the facilities will be separate, which opens the door once again. A few changes to make it a lock down and he is back in business with State Funding and families forking over funds for court ordered children. Quite lucrative. It leaves the ORS with more mud on it's face, but hey, who is to stop them. At that time, when the DJJ Director told me that the ORS was in favor of granting him a lock down facility...that sealed the deal for me.
Troll Control:
Maybe it's time to go back to the town board and see if we can put pressure on them re: DJJ offenders at RCS. Tey flew off the handle last time when we killed off MBA.
