Careful there Psy. Flooding may occur if you post to rapidly, and that may hurt someone's ability to keep up to the child erotica and murder fantasies on their blackberries.

I just learned some new definitions from this forum!

"venting". verb

When someone who was in a drug rehabilitation program 40 years ago gets angry and posts in rapid succession fantasies about murder, child rape, and posts address and names of people who may wish to have their identities not connected with a drug rehab in an aggressive manner with the intent of causing said person harm.

"attacking" verb
When those persons who are the subject of the "venting" defend themselves and point out the despicable nature of person doing said "venting".

"trolling" verb

A non-existent activity which is really just in your imagination. It is only when you don't like something, your mind tricks you into believing a post is irrelevant.

"flooding" verb

A term a fornits admin uses when he doesn't like the 'attacking' of the 'venter' and becomes concerned not about threats of harm and child rape but rather about someone keeping up with the conversation on a blackberry.

Let's look at the facts here as they affect the Seed forum.

Each page on the index has 20 topics
I'll be counting a topic as being by stack not by IP address but by whether the topic is written in all caps. I'm not going to check IPs for this exercise.

* On page 1 there are 10 topics that appear to be by stack jones. That's 50% There are also a significant number of topics complaining *about* him or attacking him but do not appear to be by him. That person(s) shares some of the responsibility in this.
* There are three "popular" topics with more than one page, two of which were started by stack. Replies to that topic appear to be by multiple people. This means that those topics were meaningful to at least one other person.
* On page 2 there are 12 topics that appear to be by stack jones. That's 60% There are also a significant number of topics complaining *about* him or attacking him but do not appear to be by him. That person(s) shares some of the responsibility in this.
* There are three "popular" topics with more than one page.
* On page 3 there are 5 topics that appear to be by stack jones. That's 25% There are also a significant number of topics complaining *about* him or attacking him but do not appear to be by him. That person(s) shares some of the responsibility in this.
* There are three "popular" topics with more than one page.
* On page 4 there are 10 topics that appear to be by stack jones (three of which were duplicates, which could easily have been a mistake caused by the server being slow). That's 50% There are also a significant number of topics complaining *about* him or attacking him but do not appear to be by him. That person(s) shares some of the responsibility in this.
Let's look at the facts here as they affect the entire board's active topics feature.

* On page one of active topics 9/20 posts are from the seed forum ( 45% ).
* Page 2 is same
Ok. So maybe you can blame stack for some of this, but not all of it. Some of his topics obviously somebody has been interested in and the personal attacks have been coming from both sides. There is hardly one person to blame this on at all. If what Stack was doing constituted flooding and he was banned, to be fair we'd have to ban everybody else involved. That's not feasible. All i'll ask is that people just please grow up and knock it off. Nobody is getting banned.
