As you may be able to see, the whole introduction into CALO is relatively low key and certainly non-confrontational. Our students have had enough conflict in their lives and rarely need an in-your-face intervention to start their stay.

Non confrontational?  Are you kidding me?  Except when the kids' parents lie to them and say "oh we're just checking out this place"...and then when the kid figures out they are STAYING there is some confrontation!  Most often that looks like a bent wrist control hold or escort.  Happens a lot.  Bet the students won't read that in the handbook!

I suspect the "handbook" neglects to mention a great many things. Parents being scammed during tours is nothing new. I'm certain Ken/Nicole are quite adept at pulling the fast con on parents given their prior work histories.
