tnbweekly.com wrote a story on March 24, 2009 about the Bush 43 overnight visit and dinner at the Semblers Treasure Island home. In paragraph two of their article they make the following statement “The lone incident took place when an unidentified person was yelling obscenities toward Bush in the street near the home of Melvin and Mary Sembler, 10324 Paradise Blvd., who were hosting a reception and dinner for the former president. Bush was inside and did not hear the remarks. “
Mary Sembler who is this lady? We of course know Melvin Semblers wife is named Betty Sembler, not “Mary.”
If they had said it was the condo(s) home of Marlene McCord and hang-out of longtime employer and pal Melvin Sembler would we have been surprised? But “Mary” come on.
It goes to show they did not do their research prior to publishing the article. BTW, what did the protester have to say? They never mention it, just that he was ”silenced” by the authorities. Interesting how shallow the stories in Pinellas County are when it comes to the Semblers.
BTW, how do they know Bush 43 never heard the comments? Did they ask him? Or did they just simply assume a man who should be charged as a war criminal does not care what the “lone protester” has to say?
