Define "hurds".  I'm not quite sure who you're referring to.  Do you mean "herds" (as in cows / sheep)?  If so whom do you refer to?

Laurie and Paul Hurd--Laurie is the daughter of Joe Gauld, founder of Hyde School.  Paul and Laurie are former Hyde Students who returned as teachers. Laurie was Head of School until 2008.  The Hurds left Hyde with much fanfare last year, and I'm wondering if they are "retired," employed elsewhere, or still on Hyde payroll.

Aha.  At first I thought this was going to be yet another "Fornits readers are a bunch of junkies who can't hold down a job" threads (ironically posted by somebody who reads fornits).

No, It's more like "Hyde staff are cult junkies who can't cut it among real humans."  Still slightly mean spirited--but that's the mood I'm in today.
