Mount Bachelor Academy at the US Supreme Court

Important:
http://blog.youthrights.org/2009/01/28/ ... eme-court/

NYRA, CAFETY and others will probably be working on an Amicus Brief about this case, please spread the word as widely as you can.  Right now the news is just defining this as a special ed issue, and leaving out the more pressing (from our perspective) issues at Mount Bachelor Academy that should be examined.

A short thread discussing an earlier and similar case also involving Special Ed issues and Mount Bachelor Academy is here:

Here is the website of a Dr. Michael Fulop who is, I believe, the Psych expert cited in your case: http://www.drmjfulop.com

On Dr. Fulop's "Referral Names" links page, he notes the following programs under the category of "Alternative Programs & Resources":

    • Catherine Freer Wilderness Therapy
    • Mt.  Bachelor  Academy
    • Wolfeboro Summer School
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
