   Advisory Council

In an effort to further encourage the developmental growth and confidence in Hidden Lake Academy we have created an Advisory Council. It is our hope that by viewing a list of people by their home state, who vouch for the integrity of the school, will give prospective parents the encouragement to call and discuss the possible enrollment opportunities for their child.

Judge Marvin Shoob, is a Federal sitting senior judge(North Georgia County Courthouse), next to Senior Judge William O'Kelley(presides over the class action lawsuit, Ryan et al, vs. Hidden Lake Academy, same distirct, same court). Judge Shoob is on Hidden Lake Academy's web-site, under "Advisory Council"(see above) professing the integrity of the school tp prospective families.  Judge Shoob is a public figure in service  thus accountable to the people he serves. This is totally irresponsible and reprehensible.  "For the People, by the People", "Preserve and Protect".   This is gross violation of ethics, totally misleading.  How on earth can a Senior Judge be advocating for a school's integrity and soundness when it is in legal default on all its debts including a judgement issued in his own court district and now will be sold on the courthouse steps? It is an embarassment to the court.
If Judge Shoob was not made aware of his place on the "Advisory Council" on Hidden Lake Academy's web-site, next to Thornton Morris, please,(maybe Judge Shoob was not aware of the lawsuit in his own district) he damn well should be and so should Judge O'Kelley.  "Too Close for Comfort" is an understatement.  This does not look good.  Just how far does Buccellato's arm stretch?

Thank goodness there is someone giving an effort to counter all this crap about the school.  I am a parent of a child currently enrolled at HLA, and can tell you that the counselors there truly care about what they are doing.  Unlike what I can say for most of the poeple posting on this website.  What they are trying to do to the school is what sends people to Hell when they die.  What sort of life do you think these people have if they are spending it trying to destroy an institution like this.  This is a difficult thing for families to endure and requires a lot of blind trust.  I can tell you I am not the only one that has that for the school and the results in my daughter are outstanding.  My hope is that this school will survive this storm and continue to provide for these families that need them.  Parents, if you are considering sending your child there, I would be glad to talk to you about it.  This has been a media blitz that has hurt this school and it saddens me both for the school and the nice folks that want to destroy it.  I am not on the list and I am sure there are many more that aren't as well that feel the same way.  i would be happy to talk to anyone about this.  214-986-8787

Relying on 'blind trust" is what can get your daughter hurt real bad, perhaps irrevocably, perhaps for life. Are you willing to take that chance?

You say results are currently "outstanding," but what you are seeing is not the behavior of someone who naturally behaves that way, but someone who is coerced into compliance as the lesser of several evils. Do you think this is really going to last? Do you think there might not be rebound or backlash coming further on down the pike?

As tawdry as this looks, I'm not sure that anything can be done. It would be up to Judge William O'Kelley to recuse himself should his associations with Judge Shoob, and the latter's predilections, affect his ability to render impartial judgment.

It certainly does not speak well for Judge Marvin Shoob's strength of moral judgment. Perhaps Buccellato has put a "special spin" on the matter that overrides Shoob's common sense.

Blind trust, you are an imbicile....an absolute imbicile.  The only garbage that is going to Hell, you pontificating moron, is Buccellato - even that is up to God.  How blind can one be?  It is your child.
