I heard joe kilch had molested a male student. Im not entirely sure about this but it wouldnt surprise me given the track record of sexual misconduct on that campus. I remember when i was living in new dorm he came into my room while i was changing and just stood there smiling and wouldnt leave.

do you think there is a higher than usual level repressed gayness at Hyde?..there was this "bad ass" black dude from nyc that used to be the school bully durring my hydedays.  One day while waiting for work crew to start tried to make out with and grope one of the other boys, like totally unprovoked, ect...the other guy freaked and sreamed for help ..the assailent (sp?) took off out the front gate never to be seen again...there are a bunch of other stories too...I wonder if the repressed gayness leads to bad behavior which prompts parent to "look for a special school" and thus a higher than usual gayness at hyde...perhaps Im late in thinking of this..Ive always had bad gaydar...

Good question. I once read of a study re. rats being subjected to high stress (lights, noise) and excessively crowded conditions, whilst still receiving a nutritionally adequate diet, and the net effect these conditions had on sexual behavior. Incidents of homosexual behavior between male rats went way up.

How much of the homosexual activity at Hyde School is authentic, and how much is stress-induced? Your description of Mr. Bad Ass's behavior doesn't strike me as any kind of normal overture. Perhaps it was "stress-induced."

Perhaps, too, he was just trying to get himself sent elsewhere! Apparently, it worked.
