that is MY website, it has nothing to do with antiwwasp... the sad part is no one donated so now i have to resort to shit like this. its basically a link farm.. there are ads riddled throughout the page, but no direct referrals of any kind. i could care less what is on that page at this point, because i'm broke, no one cares about keeping the forum open anyway, that much is quite obvious. on the positive side, in every single one of those posts, there is a link back to antiwwasp... sorry it had to be this way, i tried doing it "the right way" first, but no one has any money or they just don't care... i hear about people taking trips to disneyland and going out of town, but antiwwasp is not a priority for most people or someone would've avoided fast food, or gone without a pack of cigarettes. i was asking for 5 dollars a person, and pam pulled the whole thing by herself. the only reason the forum is still running (hosting is paid for the next 52 days unless someone else contributes or my ads make money) is because pam forked out 100 bucks.

If you go to teenshelp.us, kevins  website, check out the ads on top of the page. They advertise various programs, and some of them even lead you to wasp programs after a few clicks. Paying for an anti wasp website, by advertising for wasp?? thats fucked up!!!  :on phone:  :timeout:

Not that i'm a fan of Kevin (i'm not... i fucking hate him), teenshelp.us is actually a fake referral site.  It's actually a linkfarm / google bomb.  Mostly all the links post to antiwwasp.  what he's aiming for is his site showing up on a google search when somebody searches for "boarding school" or something similar. It's a dumb idea since Google punishes sites using such tactics to boost their rank.

Click on troubledteens.com (the ad that shows up the most), and follow the links through. You will end up on a official wasp site within 3-4 clicks.

I think the site linking back to Anti-Wwasp is an incredible idea. That is, if the parents do get to the teenshelp page in the first place. It is a good decoy. Very good idea.

The Yahoo ads, I could do without though. That is a big bummer, especially after the history I have read about with this individual. Although I am very skeptical, I believe that he should be treated fairly and with a cautious approach.

I have attacked people here on Fornits before but I think I may have been wrong to do so. Not that I agree with what people have done but this mob mentality is an unhealthy thing. I didn't see it before but I am starting to see it now. Group attack is something I would like to not be a part of anymore. It isn't good for anybody, even if we are online. I feel bad that I did it at all.

I got a couple good ideas from this thread, but I am not ready to attack anyone over what has been presented. The big question is, did he get to choose the specific ads that would be on his page or was it a default to where the page draws a certain type of content for the ads? This could just be a bad decision and I am not convinced that this person has been purposely deceptive.

I agree with Oscar, whoever he is. At least he doesn't post anonymously. C'mon folks, have a little character and post as yourselves, it would be a little easier to hold valid discussions. (excluding any posts that might be legally actionable, of course).

I'm not making this decision blindly.  Ads exist for a reason: because people click on them... parents click on them.  Then parents end up on a program's website and we all know where it leads from there.  Kevin knows enough about the web to know that's the way it works.  I wish I could say "ignorance" at this point, but with his history, i'd say that's less than a 1% chance.
