Aspen Research Project- prepping
« on: December 08, 2008, 07:53:22 AM »
Hello,

Needed;

Hunters: Those peoples who dare to contact programs, reporters, ed-cons, parents, survivors, and other information sources by phone. If they can muster up the courage for dumpster diving that is cool as well.

Geekers: Those souls who troll the internet looking for articles and websites.

Meeters: Those who troll myspace or facebook to encourage statements and participation.

State yer intentions!

Something should be said about their marketing style. Actually, something should probably be said about all the different programs' marketing styles, which differ just enough to end up creating slightly different pools of marks.

E.g., WWASPS vs. Aspen vs. religiously-based vs. psycho-therapeutic (e.g., John McKay's Attachment Therapy programs in NM, TX; although he has now opened up another more typical "Academy" in Montana, I believe)...

Why don't you do a specific study of Aspen's marketing system Ursus? The idea for a research group is to get some moles digging away with their tiny little mole claws. I can't see why a bear digging through trash would hurt.

suggestions:

1) Download skpye and harrass Aspen marketing with bogus parent calls claiming, "OMG  MY wittle timmy is gonna die help me NOOOOOWWWW.." and see what you kick up.

I've written something up on Aspen's marketing styles awhile back...  http://www.associatedcontent.com/articl ... html?cat=4
In fact I have about 3 or 4 articles on this subject published online at this link....  http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6 ... _moya.html

Good question would be who referred the family to Excel. Some of the kids are from Canada.
