which kid was that?
I had the nightmare again...but this time it was about it being too late to help the kid/put the kid's murderers in prison.
Suicide seems attractive just because it seems like the only way to honor the kid. Its hard to explain. Its like, justice must be had, even if its in a worthless "magical" way: ie. not about worldly justice, but a transendental balance in eternity. I'm sure there's a psychological explanation.
I just wish things didn't happen like they did, is all.
Malcolm Gladwell's new book explains how seemingly inexplicable accomplishments stem from rare good fortune. I guess it works in reverse too, seemingly inexplicable tragedy stems from rare bad luck. I mean, getting kidnapped and tortured by a cult your rich, insane parents sell you too is pretty damn unlucky, right? Calling the police begging for help and having them ignore you doesn't happen everyday, yes?
What happiness could this kid be experiencing if they had lucked into the ordinary, middle of the road life that everyone in the real world takes for granted
