What do Jayne's kids think about her career in psychological chicanery? From reading in these threads, I gather that
one of them has opted to follow in her mother's footsteps, at least to some degree... What about the others?

Benchmark Young Adult School
Redlands, CABenchmark Young Adult School Celebrates 15-year AnniversarySeptember 29, 2008
Jayne Selby-Longnecker, Executive Director and CEO of Benchmark Young Adult School, proudly announces that Benchmark celebrated its 15-year anniversary on September 9, 2008.
Jayne, who at the time was a single mother of four adolescent children, founded Benchmark Young Adult School in September, 1993, with the understanding that many young people are unable to transition successfully into adulthood, often due to issues such as learning differences, alcohol and drug dependency, distressed family relationships or even just immaturity.
She recognized that her experience, strength and knowledge gave her the foundation to establish a school where these students could learn to live at their own level of independence. Benchmark began with one staff member and one student and has grown to include 20 full time staff members and a census of between 50-55 students.
Benchmark has been considered the standard model among similar programs in the emotional growth industry. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each student with an emphasis on emotional maturity through a well-designed curriculum of personal growth, a strong focus on educational development and independent living skills, which are accomplished within a framework of our Sober Living environment.
